I provide consultancy, training and workshops drawing on extensive experience of academic development, personal tutoring, student support, programme leadership and inclusive practice in higher education.

From strategy to practice
My approach to academic development is practical and collaborative. I am particularly interested in translating institutional priorities into approaches that academic staff can understand, adopt and use in their everyday practice. This might involve developing a university-wide framework, creating resources for academic staff, designing a CPD programme or facilitating workshops with academic teams.
I have held senior tutoring, programme leadership and institutional roles within higher education, including extensive responsibility for personal tutoring and student support. I have developed resources and training for academic staff and contributed to university-level work relating to student experience, inclusion and student success.
